Faxanadu George Bataille is an injection of fragments of the writing of Georges Bataille (1897 - 1962) into the NES game Faxanadu (1987). It is playable online in-browser or you can download it and play it on your computer using an NES emulator.

The game inverts the standard play of an action video game, in that you play the action parts in order to get to the ordinarily dull talking parts. Getting a high score is not important-- exploration is.
